Have you heard the stories about Herobrine? What was once a Minecraft myth has now become playable through player-created mods that you can install on your Minecraft PE game. To install a Herobrine mod on your Android device, you need the BlockLauncher app. If you have an iOS device, you will have to crack it and then install the mods with the Cydia package manager.

Method 1 of 2: Installing the Herobrine Mod (Android)

1. Download and install BlockLauncher. This is a free app that allows you to manage mod files for loading into Minecraft PE.
   • It is not possible to summon Herobrine without installing a mod.
   • BlockLauncher only works with the paid version of Minecraft PE downloaded from the Google Play Store.
   • Note: the mod described here does not currently work with version 0.10.0.
2. Visit a Minecraft PE mod site. One of the most popular sites is mcpedl.com.
3. Look for a Herobrine mod. Since these are user-made mods, there will likely be several to choose from, all with different features. One of the Herobrine mods that gets the best reviews is the one on mcpedl.com, "Lord Herobrine". Another popular Herobrine mod is Herobrine / Holy Mod by mclover521. The installation instructions are the same for both mods.
4. Tap the "Download Script" link at the bottom of the page. Find the download link to it .js file to your Android device.
5. Tap the link "Download Texture Pack". Find the download link to it .zip file to your Android device.
6. Start Minecraft PE. You will now get the option "BlockLauncher" in the main menu. Tap it to open the BlockLauncher menu.
7. Select "Launcher Options". With this you can load the Texture Pack for Herobrine.
   • Tap "Texture Pack".
   • Tap "Select".
   • Open the folder "Download".
   • Select it .zip file you just downloaded.
8. Restart Minecraft PE and open BlockLauncher again. Select "Manage ModPE scripts". This will allow you to load the Herobrine script file.
   • Tap on "Import". Select "Local storage" from the list of options.
   • Select your "Download" folder from the list of options.
   • Tap on it .js file you downloaded. This will load the Herobrine mod in Minecraft PE.
9. Summon Herobrine. Now that you have loaded the mod of Herobrine, you can summon Herobrine in your Minecraft game.
   • Gather your materials. You need two gold blocks, two Netherrack blocks, flint and steel.
   • Stack the gold blocks on top of each other.
   • Stack the Netherrack blocks on top of the gold blocks to make a pillar.
   • Use the flint and steel to make a fire on top of the Netherrack. You will receive a message that Herobrine has been summoned to your world.

Method 2 of 2: Installing the Herobrine Mod (iOS)

1. To install the mods you MUST jailbreak the iOS device. There is no way to install mods on a device where this is not done. Jailbreaking your iOS can be tricky and can freeze your phone or make you out of warranty. Check out wikiHow for articles on jailbreaking your iOS device.
2. Open Cydia. The only available mods of Herobrine mods for iOS can be downloaded from Cydia. Many of these also require you to have Winterboard installed.
   • Note: If you find a Herobrine mod online as a .the B file, then you can install it with iFile, available from Cydia. But this also requires a cracked iOS device.
3. Look for a Herobrine mod. There will likely be several to choose from. Find one that has good reviews, or check out YouTube videos to determine which one you like best. Each Herobrine mods has different functions.
4. Install the mod. Use the download link on the Cydia website to download and install the mod, via the Cydia package manager.
5. Apply the Winterboard theme. Some of the mods require you to apply the Winterboard theme in order for the mod to work. To do this, launch Winterboard and tap the Herobrine mod entry until the blue check mark appears. You will then have to restart or turn on the device.
6. Start Minecraft PE. When you start Minecraft PE, the Herobrine mod will be installed. The method you use to summon Herobrine depends on the mod (many players just wait for a regular zombie to turn out to be Herobrine, so it isn't actually summoned).

Tips

• You can Herobrine not calls without installing a mod. It does not exist in the standard Minecraft game.
