If you want to hide your recent activity on the web and delete your history, this is an article to help you with that.
To step
Method 1 of 3: Firefox 2.6
Open Firefox. When the program has started, click on the orange Firefox button in the top left corner.
Float above history. A menu will appear after you click on Firefox. Hover above History on the right side of the menu for a submenu.
Click on "Clear Recent History". A number of options are shown to delete history.
Select the period. Select how far back you want to clear the history.
Select what you want to delete. There are a number of different items you can delete. If you just prefer not to have someone accidentally find out what you have done on the internet, delete the first 4 parts (navigation & download history, form & search history, cookies and buffer).
Click on "Delete Now". Then you are done!
Method 2 of 3: Firefox 4
Click on "History" in the Firefox menu.
Click on "Clear Recent History".
Check the checkboxes of the items you want to remove.
Click on "Clear Now".
Method 3 of 3: Firefox 3.6 and earlier
Open Mozilla Firefox.
Open Firefox Options (Tools> Options).
Click on the Privacy tab.
Click Clear recent history.
Select the period you want to delete. If you want to delete all history, choose Everything.

- If you want to delete all history, tick all items.
click on Delete now.
Click OK.
Restart Firefox.
Tips
- If you work on a computer that you share with others, clear your history after each time you use the computer.
Warnings
- Once the data has been erased, History cannot be recovered except after a system restore.
