There are two types of Applications / Games: one type is added to your account and the second type is not. Facebook's current interface consists of a panel to the right of your page. This panel consists of Groups, Apps, Events, Favorites, Friends, Interests, Pages, etc. The entire panel consists only of those Apps, Pages, Friends, etc. that you have added to your account. It is these applications and games that you can remove.

To step

Method 1 of 2: Delete from the main page

1. Log in to Facebook. Enter your username and password when prompted.
2. Zoe the specific game / app you want to delete. This will be under the App category under "Settings". On the left sidebar, under "Apps", you should see "Games". Click on the text "Your games" at the top of this new page. This will take you to the Games page. This page will show all the games linked to your Facebook account, including information about when you last played.
3. Move your mouse cursor over the app / game. As you hover your cursor over a specific app / game, a settings icon resembling a small gray gear will appear to the left of that app's name.
4. Click on that settings icon. This will bring up a drop-down menu with at least 3 options: "Add to Favorites", "Edit Settings" and "Delete App".
5. Select the option "Delete app" or "Delete game". In the drop-down menu you can delete the game when prompted. This will bring up a new popup window asking you to confirm. You will also be able to tick a box to delete messages from the app on Facebook. Click the "Delete" button to delete the app.
   • A warning will appear asking you to confirm that you want to delete this app / game.

Method 2 of 2: With the search bar in the App Center

1. Type "App Center" in the Facebook search bar. Click on the first link at the top of the page. At the top of the page, you will see "Search Games", "Your Games" and "Activity".
2. Click on "Your games". Find the app / game you want to remove and hover your cursor over the top right corner where an X should appear. Once you reach "Your Games" in the App Center, you need to go to "App Settings" to find the apps you want to remove.
3. Click on "X". A confirmation box will appear once you click the "X". You will also be given the option to remove all content from your profile related to this app, such as messages and photos.
4. Click delete and wait. At the bottom of this window you have to click on the text "Remove app". Click on it and a confirmation box will appear with the option to remove all content related to the app from your profile, such as messages and photos.

Tips

• When you have removed an application or game, it should not place anything on your timeline; however, if anything was posted before removing the app, it will remain on your timeline.

Warnings

• The app or game may have information stored when you used it, but by contacting the developer you can request that they delete any information they may have about you.
• There are apps that cannot be deleted, such as Notes, Events, Photos ...
