In this wikiHow, you can read how to report a YouTube channel or user in violation of YouTube's rules. You need a computer for this, because this cannot be done from the app or the mobile website.

To step

1. Go to https://www.youtube.com in your internet browser. This page opens on your dashboard when you are logged in. click on loginif not. Then enter your email address and password.
2. Find the correct channel. Type the name of the channel in the search box at the top of the page and press ↵ Enter or ⏎ Return.
3. Select the channel. You can recognize a channel by the fact that there are buttons with Subscribe or Subscribed. These buttons can be found on the far right of the channel's page.
   • If you don't know the name, search for a video of the channel. When you find the video, you will see the name of the channel below it. Select the channel.
4. Click on the tab About. You will find that at the top of the page.
5. Click on the flag icon. You can find it under the heading "Statistics" in the right margin of the page. A menu will now appear.
6. click on Report user. You can find that option at the bottom of the menu. After clicking, a pop-up window will appear.
7. Select your reason to report this channel. Choose the reason that best describes why YouTube's rules are being broken.
8. click on Notify. That button is at the very bottom of the window.
   • When you Privacy or My problem is not listed If you click on it, you will return to another page where you can read the various guidelines from YouTube. So, to report the channel, you have to choose another option.
9. Fill in the form. Here you have the opportunity to explain in detail why you are reporting this channel. What exactly you will see depends on your previous choices. After filling in, you will see the web address of the channel with a "Continue" button.
10. Click Get on to close the report. After submission, the channel will be reviewed by a YouTube employee. In case of serious and continuous violations, YouTube will shut down the channel.
