This wikiHow teaches you how to use a robot (also known as a network robot - a software application that runs automated tasks) Discord to listen to music on your Android device.
Steps
- Access https://discordbots.org using a web browser. To listen to music on Discord, we need to use the Discord bot. There are many options on this website.
Click Music (Music). A list of bots that can be used to listen to music will appear.- The bots are listed from most popular to less popular.
- Some popular options are MedalBot, Dank Memer, Astolfo, and Sinon.
- Click View (View) to learn more about the bot you choose. The features as well as commands to listen to music with this bot will appear.
- Please write down these commands to know how to use the bot.
Click INVITE (Invite) on the bot you want to install. The Discord login screen will appear.- Sign in to Discord. Enter your username and password, then tap LOGIN. You will be redirected to the bot's page.
Choose a server. Click on the server name for which you want to install the music bot.- Click AUTHORIZE (Commission). This green button is in the lower right corner of the screen. The CAPTCHA code confirmation screen will appear.
- Click I'm not a robot (I'm not a robot). This bot will be added to the Discord server.
- Open Discord. The app is blue with a white gaming handle inside. You can find it on your home screen or in the app drawer.
- Click on the menu ≡ in the upper left corner of the screen. A list of servers will appear.
- Click on the server where you installed the bot. A list of channels on the server will appear.
- Click on a voice channel to join. We can only listen to music on voice channels.
- Enter the bot command to play music. The commands available for this bot are listed on the bot's page on the Discord website. advertisement
