In this article, you will learn how to sign out of your Viber account on a Windows computer and Mac OS X so as not to lose data or communications on mobile devices.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: On MacOSX
- 1 Open Viber. Click on the icon in the form of a white telephone receiver on a purple background; this icon is located in the Applications folder.
- 2 Click on the gray gear icon in the upper right corner. You will find this badge next to your profile picture. A menu will open.
- 3 Please select Settings on the menu. A new pop-up window will open your account settings.
- 4 Go to the tab Confidentiality on the left pane. It is marked with a padlock icon and is located on the left in the settings window.
- 5 Click on the purple button Disable. You will find it in the "Disable Viber on Computer" section under the "Privacy" tab. In the window that opens, confirm your decision.
- This will delete the correspondence and application data on the computer, but not on the mobile device.
- 6 Click on Disable in the pop-up window. This will confirm your decision; your Viber account will be disabled on your computer. You will automatically exit the application on your computer.
Method 2 of 2: On Windows
- 1 Open Viber. Click on the icon in the form of a white telephone receiver on a purple background; this icon is on the start menu.
- 2 Click on the three horizontal lines icon. You will find this icon in the upper left corner. A menu will open.
- 3 Please select Privacy options on the menu. The parameters are displayed on the right side of the window.
- 4 Click on the purple button Disable. You will find it at the bottom of the "Privacy" tab. In the window that opens, confirm your decision.
- This will delete the correspondence and application data on the computer, but not on the mobile device.
- 5 Click on Disable in the pop-up window. This will confirm your decision; your Viber account will be disabled on your computer.You will automatically exit the application on your computer.
