This article shows you how to convert Microsoft Word documents with DOCX to DOC format. DOCX files were introduced in 2007, so it cannot be opened with some older versions of Word that only support DOC files; Fortunately, you can use the new version of Word to convert DOCX files to DOC. Method 1 of 3: On Windows
