You don't need expensive software to create a copy of one page of a PDF document. On Windows 10, Mac OS X and Android, you can extract pages using the preinstalled apps. Older versions of Windows require a small program that can be downloaded for free.

Steps

Method 1 of 4: Windows 10

1. 1 Open the PDF file in any PDF viewer. Windows 10 has a built-in Print to PDF feature that lets you create a new PDF file from the Print window in any program. Open the PDF - by default, it will open in the Edge browser.
   • If you are using an older version of Windows, skip to the next section.
2. 2 Open the Print window. What you do depends on the program, but you usually need to click File> Print or press Ctrl+P... In Edge, tap ...> Print.
3. 3 Select Microsoft Print to PDF from the Printers menu. In this case, a new PDF file will be created, that is, nothing will be printed on paper.
4. 4 Choose Page Range from the Pages menu. Here you can specify the page to be copied.
5. 5 Enter the page number you want. Scroll through the document in the preview window to find the page you want.
6. 6 Click Print. You will see a notification that the file has been saved. The new PDF will be created in the same folder as the original PDF.
7. 7 Find a new PDF document. To do this, click on the notification or open the Explorer window and navigate to the desired folder. The new file appears next to the original document.

Method 2 of 4: Windows 8 and earlier

1. 1 Open the CutePDF Writer website. It is a free program that allows you to copy certain pages from your original PDF to a new PDF. Download this program on the website cutepdf.com/Products/CutePDF/writer.asp.
2. 2 Download CutePDF Writer and Converter Free. Click on the "Free Download" and "Free Converter" links to download two setup files.
3. 3 Run CuteWriter.exe to install CutePDF Writer. Uninstall two additional programs during installation.
4. 4 Run converter.exe to install the software for creating new PDF files. The installation will take place in automatic mode.
5. 5 Open the PDF you want to copy the page from. Do this in any PDF viewer, such as a web browser or Adobe Reader.
6. 6 Open the Print window. To do this, click File> Print or press the keys Ctrl+P.
7. 7 Choose "CutePDF Writer" from the "Printer" menu. In this case, CutePDF will create a new PDF, that is, nothing will be printed on paper.
8. 8 Select the page you want to copy. To do this, in the "Page" or "Range" field, enter the number of the page that you want to copy from the original PDF file.
9. 9 Click "Print" and save the new PDF file. When you click Print, the Save As window will open. Enter a name for the new PDF and select a location to save it. A new PDF will be created with the selected page.

Method 3 of 4: macOS

1. 1 Open the PDF in any PDF viewer such as Preview, Adobe Reader, or a web browser. MacOS has a built-in PDF creation utility that lets you copy the page you want into a new PDF document.
2. 2 Open the Print window. To do this, click File> Print or press the keys ⌘ Command+P.
3. 3 Open the PDF menu at the bottom of the window.
4. 4 Specify the page you want to copy. Open the Pages menu and select the page you want to copy into a new PDF file.
5. 5 Select "Save as PDF". This will save the page as a new PDF file.
6. 6 Enter a name for the new PDF and select a location to save it. A new PDF file with the specified page will be created in the selected folder.

Method 4 of 4: Android

1. 1 Open the PDF in Google Drive. Files can be saved in Google Drive in PDF format, allowing you to copy one page into a new PDF document. If you don't have the Google Drive app, download it from the Play Store.
2. 2 Press the Menu (⋮) button and select Print. The Print menu opens.
3. 3 Click the "∨" icon to expand a menu with additional options.
4. 4 Use the Pages menu to select the page you want to copy. Use the Range option to enter the page number you want to copy to the new PDF.
5. 5 Click the round PDF button to save the file. You will be prompted to select a folder to save it. Then enter a name for the new file and click Save.
