Read Dead Redemption is an open world game created by RockStar, which is also known for creating the popular GTA game. In the game, you control a character named John Marston, who walks through the Wild West to restore his name. Here's how to save your game in Red Dead Redemption.

Steps

Method 1 of 3: Using the room

1. 1 Enter the room in the safe house. You will see a bed, go to it.
2. 2 Press the Y button for Xbox or the triangle for PS3 to save your game.
   • The game time will jump forward 6 hours even if you cancel the save.

Method 2 of 3: Using a campfire

1. 1 Press the Start button on the controller. A menu will open.
2. 2 Choose your bag. A menu will appear.
3. 3 Choose a campfire site. This can be done with the special fire kit in the bag.
4. 4 Save your game. To do this, click on the Y button or the triangle next to your sleeping bag.

Method 3 of 3: Using Camp

1. 1 Find a camp. It usually contains NPCs.
2. 2 Click on Y or triangle to save the game. Time will increase by 6 hours.

Tips

• The game will automatically save after completing each mission. In this case, the game will not jump ahead 6 hours.
