2. 2 Launch your recently downloaded client and do a speed test. Go to Settings → Setup Assistant → Test... Pay attention to your speed.
3. 3 In the Speed ​​Guide, select the speed that best matches the speed test. If you have a low internet speed, for example 56 kbps, be aware that the download speed will be much lower than this figure.
4. 4 Select a port number within the valid range. The valid port range is 49512 to 65535. Enter any number between these values ​​and test your port number.

6. 6 The µTorrent window will appear, where you can select which files to download. This window will display the files of the torrent you selected. You can select or deselect the files you want to download. Then click "OK".

Tips

• Intensive downloading of large amounts of data is frowned upon by some providers, so they try to reduce traffic for downloading torrent files. You can enable traffic encryption, which can speed up your downloads.
• To unzip any archive files that you download, you will need Winrar or 7zip programs.
• If you are an advanced user and want to speed up the download of µTorrent, you can do this by configuring the µTorrent port on your router.
• A high-speed connection will allow you to download files much faster, but beware of the traffic limits set by your ISP.

Warnings

• By downloading pirated software, music or films, you risk being arrested and charged with copyright infringement.
• To avoid downloading viruses or corrupted files, always read the accompanying comments before downloading the torrent.
• Don't install uTorrent. Instead, in the Program Files folder, create a folder called uTorrent and drag the recently downloaded uTorrent launcher into it. This way, you will protect yourself from malware infection (the creators of uTorrent found a workaround for this trick, so now it does not work).
