Belly button piercings have always been considered sexy and stylish, but piercing can be painful and expensive. It's easy to get a fake piercing that draws the eyes of others to your belly without making yourself difficult. Choose cute beads or sparkly rhinestones and place them in your belly button - no one will notice the difference!

Steps

1. 1 Find a silver bead. The ball can be plastic or metal, but it must be small enough to fit inside the navel. You can buy a cheap beaded necklace at Walmart for as little as a dollar (you can also cut one strand with Mardi Gras beads).
2. 2 Find the rhinestones on the legs or cut the earring on the stiletto. Legged rhinestones are available in many mall stores and are adhesive backed so they can stay on your skin. Alternatively, use pliers to shorten the leg of the earring (make sure the base of the leg is completely flat to avoid pricking yourself).
3. 3 Place the jewelry just above your belly button. If you are using the product on a leg, you do not need to look for glue. If you've made your own jewelry, use spirit gum, nail glue, or body glue to make it stick to your skin. Even simple Elmer's glue will work for this. If you don't have one, you can make your own pasta using flour and water.
4. 4 Glue the ball to the inside of your navel. Since most people don't see this part, you can get a little creative with your choice of glue. You can still use the methods listed above or try toothpaste. Try to spread the paste over the top of your belly button so that it looks like it is attached to a piece of jewelry.
5. 5 Let your fake navel earring dry. Do not tug or touch the jewelry for several minutes until the glue is dry. (If you're using regular glue, it should stick fairly quickly, and the earring will usually stay in place for a long time.)

Tips

• Some stores sell fake magnetic or belly button rings. They are more likely to hold in place better.
• Don't use super glue because it can pull and damage your skin when you want to peel off the earring.
• If you have a bulging belly button, creating a fake piercing will be more difficult. Be careful and stick the pieces carefully.

• If it hurts to peel off your jewelry, apply some lotion.
• Don't use super glue.
