If you want to open a PDF document in Word, first convert the document to DOCX format. You can do this with a free online converter.
Steps
- 1 Open the Zamzar.com website.
- 2 Click the "choose file" button and select the PDF document. It will appear under "files to convert".
- 3 Select the DOCX format from the drop-down menu.
- 4 Enter the email address to which the DOCX file will be sent.
- 5 Click the "Convert" button. Open your email and download the file to your computer. Then double-click on the file to open it in Word.
Tips
- Choose the correct Word format. Older versions of Word (prior to 2007) support the DOC format, while newer versions support the DOC and DOCX formats.
