In this article, wikiHow teaches you how to block a website on your Mac. Although there is no way to block access to certain websites on the Mac, you can adjust the host file or file that stores the server's IP information and the specified domains to block certain sites or Download the SelfControl app to block them for a preset time. You can also use the parental controls available on your Mac to block access to other accounts.

Method 1 of 3: Use the host file
