Need to know how much battery you have left, but can't know the exact amount of battery left from the tiny icon? You can Turn on battery percentage display on your iPhone to accurately display the remaining battery percentage next to the battery icon. You can enable this feature on any version of iOS after version 5.

Steps

1. 

   Open Settings. From the Home screen (Home - default location), click the Settings icon - the gray gear icon to open the Settings panel.
   • If you don't see the Settings app, drag down the Home screen to bring up the search toolbar. Enter "settings" and tap the Settings icon in the results. If you use iOS 6, swipe across the Home screen from left to right until the Search screen appears.

   Click "General". This is in the third group of options. Pressing "General" opens the General panel, which allows you to set a number of functions, including the battery display.

   Click "Usage". This will show your battery usage, as well as list how much storage apps use, how much iCloud storage you're using, and more.

   Activate "Battery Percentage". Scroll down until you see the Battery Usage section. Click the On / Off switch to the right of "Battery Percentage" to switch it back to the "On" position. Your battery percentage will show up next to the battery icon at the top right of your screen. advertisement
