This article will show you how to use UC Browser to download YouTube videos on your computer running Windows. While you can no longer download videos using UC Browser's built-in settings, you can download most YouTube videos using a website called Online Video Converter. Attempting to download heavily protected videos, such as music videos or paid videos, will usually result in an error message.

To step

1. If necessary, download and install the UC Browser for Windows 10 app. If you have not yet installed UC Browser and are using Windows 10, you can install the UC Browser app from the Windows 10 Store. Click on "Start" Open UC Browser. Click "Startup" in the Microsoft Store or click (or double-click) the UC Browser app icon. This icon is in Start or on your desktop.
2. Open the website of the Video Converter. Go to https://www.onlinevideoconverter.com/video-converter in UC Browser.
3. Copy the address of a YouTube video. Go to the video you want to download to open it and then select the address of the video in the address bar at the bottom of UC Browser. Then press Ctrl+C..
   • Remember, you are not allowed to download items such as music videos or other professionally protected material (eg paid videos).
4. Paste the video address into Online Video Converter. Click the "Paste link here" text field at the top of the page and then press Ctrl+V..
5. Click the "Format" drop-down menu. This is just below the text field where you pasted the address of the video. A drop-down menu will appear.
6. click on mp4. This is on the right side of the drop-down menu.
7. click on DOWNLOAD. This is the blue button on the right side of the page. This will download your video.
   • You may need to click "Download" in a pop-up window if UC Browser is not configured to download automatically.

Tips

• There are tons of other websites and services you can use to download YouTube videos if Online Video Converter does not work.

Warnings

• Downloading and distributing a copyrighted video is illegal. If you need to download YouTube videos, do this for your own enjoyment only.
