It is very easy and very tasty to make rice with milk.

Ingredients

  • Rice
  • Milk
  • Sugar
  • Ground cinnamon or a cinnamon stick (optional)
  • Nutmeg
  • Vanilla
  • Allspice

Method 1 of 2: Cooker method

  1. Put 4 cups of milk in a saucepan and let it stand for 2 minutes.
  2. Add 1 cup of sugar to the milk.
  3. Add three cups of rice.
  4. Heat it over medium heat for 7 minutes (the milk should not burn) until it starts to boil.
  5. Add 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon to the rice.
  6. Lower the heat.
  7. Cover the pan and let it stand for 8 minutes.
  8. Instead of ground cinnamon, you can also add two cinnamon sticks to the pan and let it boil in the milk. Remove the sticks before adding the rice.

Method 2 of 2: Microwave method

  1. Place precooked rice in a microwave dish. Put in enough, but no more than 2/3 of the scale.
  2. Put the milk in the bowl. Add just enough milk to the rice so that it is almost covered.
  3. Heat the milk with the rice in the microwave for 1 minute and 20 seconds. The time can vary per microwave.
  4. Take it out of the microwave and add the following things:
    • Pinch of cinnamon
    • Pinch of nutmeg
    • Pinch of allspice
    • Two drops of vanilla
    • Sugar to taste
  5. Stir well. Enjoy it!
  6. Ready.
