This wikiHow teaches you how to get all seven pieces of Orichalcum ＋ in Kingdom Hearts 2 on PlayStation 2, 3 and 4. You need all seven pieces available in the game to create the weapon called Ultima Keyblade.

To step

1. Complete all levels in the required areas. You will be awarded one Orichalcum ＋ per area for completing the following areas:
   • 100 Acre Wood - Complete "Starry Hill".
   • Atlantica - Complete the song "A New Day is Dawning".
2. Make sure you have submitted at least one copy of each synthesis item. If you have collected at least one copy of each synthesis item in the game and given each of them to a Moogle, you will receive one Orichalcum ＋ as a reward.
   • You will likely have to slaughter enemies and search their gear for a few hours before you collect one copy of each required synthesis item, although you can make this step easier by using the Lucky beforehand while playing the game. Lucky skill.
3. Open the chest in the Central Computer Mesa. Immediately before you start the MCP boss fight, you will encounter a number of chests. One of these chests contains a piece of Orichalcum ＋.
4. Find the chest on the Sunset Terrace. While you may assume that going to the Sunset Terrace in Twilight Town makes little sense, unless you want to remember Roxas's quest, during the main storyline's prologue, to the Six Wonders, there is one piece of Orichalcum ＋ in the area itself constipated:
   • Jump on top of the tram that goes back and forth.
   • Jump off the tram and onto the roof with a chest on it.
   • Open the chest to get the piece of Orichalcum ＋.
5. Find the chest hidden in The Brink of Despair. There is a relatively easy to get hold of Orichalcum ＋ in The World That Never Was. To the left of the bridge that leads into The Castle That Never Was, you will come across a narrow ledge that is somewhat hidden behind the large chest that contains the city map. Open the chest on this ledge to find another piece of Orichalcum ＋.
6. Get your reward of one piece of Orichalcum ＋ from a Moogle. Each Moogle will reward you with a piece of Orichalcum ＋ after you submit your last unique synthesis item.
   • For the piece of Orichalcum ＋ to appear on your materials list, you must exit and re-enter the Moogle's shop to return it as well.
7. Win the Goddess of Fate cup. After you win the previous three cups and defeat Xemnas in Memory's Contortion, a fourth cup — the Goddess of Fate cup — will become available in the Underworld Tournament. Win the 10 round match and the last piece of Orichalcum ＋ will be yours.

Tips

• Since the HD remake of Kingdom Hearts 2 is almost identical to the original version for the PlayStation 2, nothing has changed in the locations of the Orichalcum ＋, so don't worry about the differences between the original version and the Final Mix version .
• Open any chest you can find. By following this rule, you should automatically come across three of the seven pieces of Orichalcum ＋ you need. You'll also find the Torn Pages this way, which you need to complete the 100 Acre Wood missions and get a new one.
• Use the Lucky Lucky ability. The earlier in the game you start building the Synthesis collection, the less work you will have to do if you end up making Orichalcum ＋ collecting a priority. Check the Moogle's list of items often so you know what you're missing. This is also useful to keep with it when you are in the process of finding the other ingredients that the Ultimate Recipe calls for.
• If searching eventually becomes a priority then you should use the Sweet Memories Keyblade as it has the Lucky Lucky ability. If you have Lucky Rings, you should put these on too.

Warnings

• If you are playing the HD ReMIX version of Kingdom Hearts 2 for the PlayStation 3 or 4, remember that this is the Final Mix version, in which the Sweet Memories Keyblade does not have the Lucky Lucky ability.
• You have to pick up the Ultimate Recipe as Sora to be able to make the recipe at all.
